this is the first post on my site. i've been meaning to start a blog for a while and kept putting it off for the usual reasons - not enough time, not sure what to write about, worried it wouldn't be good enough.
the thing is, i'm not writing this for an audience. i'm writing it to think.
why a blog in 2026
writing forces clarity. you can hold a fuzzy idea in your head for weeks and feel like you understand it, and then the moment you try to write it down, you realize you don't.
i want to write about:
- software engineering - things i've learned, mistakes i've made, opinions i hold
- books - what i'm reading and what i think about it
- whatever else feels worth putting down
